Oracle HCM Cloud Health Check — Know What's Broken Before Your Consultant Does
Yoetz.ai scans every security role, BPM approval workflow, HDL data load, and Fast Formula in your Oracle HCM Cloud tenant — and scores AI readiness across the same. The same depth a Big Four engagement produces, delivered in under 2 hours.
What the Oracle HCM Cloud scan covers
Oracle HCM Cloud (Oracle Fusion HCM) is one of the most configurable HR platforms on the market. Job, abstract, and data security roles. BPM approval workflows. HDL loads. Fast Formula. Person and assignment data integrity. Each surface area is a known source of configuration drift over time.
Yoetz.ai automates the audit across all of it. The same engine that powers our Workday health check and SuccessFactors health check, adapted to Oracle's data model and security architecture.
- Job roles, abstract roles, and data security roles
- BPM approval workflow definitions and routing
- HDL load history, success rates, and data quality
- Fast Formula compilation errors and runtime warnings
- Person and Assignment data integrity and duplicates
- Oracle AI Apps readiness components
- Privilege accumulation and role inheritance paths
- Approval workflow bottlenecks and stuck transactions
- Custom field configuration and usage patterns
- Security audit log analysis
The Oracle HCM configuration issues we find most often
Role explosion
Custom roles cloned and modified until no one knows what they grant. The audit reveals the effective permissions, not just the documented ones.
Stuck approvals
BPM workflows waiting on inactive approvers with no escalation or fallback. Often discovered only when a critical action stalls.
HDL silent failures
Loads marked successful at the file level with rows quietly rejected. Aggregate counts look fine; the underlying data is wrong.
Fast Formula errors
Compilation warnings that became runtime errors at quarter-end calculations. We catch them before payroll does.
Person data drift
Duplicate or stale person records confusing downstream integrations and analytics. Often caused by re-hire scenarios handled inconsistently.
Privilege accumulation
Inherited role grants no one remembers approving. The Oracle equivalent of Workday's privilege creep — same audit risk.
Abstract role overuse
Abstract roles assigned beyond their original intent, granting access to functional areas that weren't reviewed.
Data security policy gaps
Policies that look constraining but don't actually constrain because the underlying role definition overrides them.
Custom field sprawl
Hundreds of custom fields, half unused, half referenced by Fast Formula no one maintains anymore.
Oracle AI Apps readiness assessment
Oracle's AI Apps for HCM (including the AI agent capabilities Oracle has been rolling out across Fusion) depend on clean assignment data, consistent role security, and reliable workflow outcomes. The same readiness pattern that applies to Workday Illuminate applies here — and most tenants are not as ready as their executives assume.
Yoetz.ai scores readiness across the components that actually matter for AI execution: data completeness, security boundary integrity, workflow reliability, and integration trust. You know exactly what to fix before turning AI features on.
How Yoetz.ai compares to a manual Oracle HCM engagement
Manual Oracle HCM audits from Oracle implementation partners or Big Four firms run $60,000–$150,000 over 6–10 weeks. Oracle HCM is uniquely configuration-heavy, which makes the manual review especially painful — and especially incomplete. There's simply too much surface area to cover by hand.
Yoetz.ai analyzes the entire surface area in under 2 hours. The first scan typically surfaces 40–80 critical and high-risk findings most enterprises had no idea existed. Re-scan as often as you want — annual plans include unlimited scans.
Pre-update readiness for Oracle HCM quarterly releases
Oracle's HCM Cloud quarterly updates frequently change behavior in BPM workflows, Fast Formula functions, and data security defaults. Yoetz.ai's release-readiness mode highlights what each upcoming update will affect in your specific configuration — concept similar to our Workday release readiness for R1 and R2.
Everything you need to know
How long does an Oracle HCM scan take?
Typical scans complete in 2 hours. Larger enterprise tenants with extensive Fast Formula and custom workflows can run up to 2 hours.
Does Yoetz.ai cover Oracle HCM Cloud or just on-premise Oracle HRMS?
Yoetz.ai is built for Oracle HCM Cloud (Oracle Fusion HCM). On-premise Oracle EBS HRMS is not currently supported.
What credentials does the scan need?
We use Oracle Cloud OAuth or REST API service accounts with read-only scopes. We never modify configuration. Credentials are AES-256 encrypted at rest.
Will Yoetz.ai impact tenant performance during the scan?
We rate-limit our reads to be well below typical reporting workload. Most customers can't tell the scan is running. Production-safe by design.
Does this satisfy SOX or ISO audit requirements?
Yoetz.ai produces SOX-ready evidence of security control state, role assignment integrity, and workflow segregation of duties. Many customers hand the export directly to their external auditors.
Can I run scans on multiple Oracle HCM tenants?
Yes. Internal team plans cover one tenant; consulting firm plans include unlimited client tenants. Multi-tenant management is built into the dashboard.
Does Yoetz.ai assess Oracle AI Apps readiness?
Yes. Every Oracle HCM scan includes an AI readiness score covering data completeness, security boundary integrity, workflow reliability, and integration trust — analogous to our Workday Illuminate readiness scoring.
